Westside Bait was established in 1951 by Tom Donlan and John Marco. Donlan bought out Marco in 1972. Tom owned and operated the business with his three sons until his death in 2003.

Jim and Tim Donlan are currently operating the store to this day.

Tom Donlan left his legacy in fishing by making sure that any kid who wanted to fish, got the opportunity.
